I just saw Eternal Sunshine the other day and absolutely loved it. I found that there were a lot of elements of the Winslett character in myself- even now my hair is streaked a funky shade of pink, it'll go red soon, then purple...

I really loved how the script was in letting us enter their relationship in a fantastical way. I normally don't like Jim Carey in most movies, but he was perfect in this one. The movie brought me to reflect on my own relationships without pounding me over the head with the way that I should think about them. I plan on watching it again with Andrew when he gets back from Asia.

Anyone else seen anything good lately? I've been on a rental spree, but nothing has been amazing- though I must admit that I was impressed by Chicago because I expected to despise it, but some of the scenes (esp the prison tango scene) were really well done, costumes, choreography and Zeta Jones managed to not make me want to puke upon site.

I want to rent Sheltering Sky this week and caught part of a documentary called One Giant Leap that is Barakaish, but with interviews on how we perceive reality with segments called Time, Money, Masks, Death, Sex... the music in it is amazing. I only watched three segments, but will rent it to see the rest.
