Anyone ever been? We'll be going to Norman, the college town just outside of Oaklahoma City for four days May 14-18th. Any reccomendations other then to not go cause it's dull as hell?

I have no idea what one does in Oklahoma, or what it looks like, but I think I met a few people from there once and they were very nice. (as if we're talking about Kajikstan which I am sure I am spelling so incorrectly and I have absolutely so little history about it's place in old Soviet History)--- Sorry for the digression.
I need to give you a hug soon. Maybe when you return? You can report back and educate...
Jara says we've been there, but I have zero recollection, so that might speak for something...

Wed, May 5, 2004 - 11:05 PMOk, based on our minute old discussion about whether or not we've been to Oklahoma, if my partner Jara is correct, we did the a huge part of the route 66 drive... oh, it's coming back to me... we went to Tulsa and Oklahoma City. It was hard to find good food, but we found a retro greasy diner with lots of retro memorabilia , there were some cool looking record shops, it was super hot and concretey (in February), and there was some wicked looking art deco architecture throughout.
It was a little of a time wharp and a lot of fantasy, and there were some cool kids playgrounds (if you want to go on a swing):) I'm sure you'll find some interesting experiences come your way. -

I do want to see you!! After we go to Oaklahoma (flying) for four days we're only back for a couple, then we're going to drive to Texas to go to Flipside, the regional burn event there. So chances are we won't be able to hook up until mid June!!!! egad. And of course I have a bunch of classes and meetings to attend Friday-Monday. Perhaps we can meet up on Tuesday afternoon?? I have to nanny in Berkeley at 7pm, so we could hang out before then.
